About the Workshop

ASCENT 2027 brings together researchers and practitioners working at the intersection of high-performance computing, edge systems, AI, and emerging computing paradigms. The workshop is designed as a focused forum for architectures, algorithms, systems, and applications that push sophisticated computation closer to where data is produced.

Edge-HPC Systems

Scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure for decentralized and resource-constrained environments, including placement, orchestration, scheduling, and performance optimization.

AI and LLMs

Distributed inference, model compression, privacy-preserving learning, generative AI services, and AI accelerator management across edge-HPC systems.

Quantum-Aware Workflows

Quantum computing, quantum-inspired optimization, and hybrid quantum-HPC-edge workflows for complex distributed applications.

Submission Guidelines

Prepare your manuscript for double-blind review using the official ACM proceedings format. Key publication and submission requirements are organized below.

Proceedings & Open Access

Accepted workshop papers will appear in a companion volume with the ICDCN 2027 proceedings through the ACM International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS), indexed by ACM, DBLP, Scopus, and other indexing services.

Under ACM's ICPS open-access model, an Article Processing Charge may apply when an author's institution is not part of ACM Open and the author does not qualify for a waiver.
